binee was an innovative solution that attempted to revolutionize the way people get rid of their trash worldwide. Our mission was to create a world where people have fun and get rewarded for treating their waste as a resource. Based in Germany, we started our E-Waste take back challenge in 2017 to increase reuse and recycling rates of small electronic appliances. In 2018, we started the old medication take back challenge to reduce hazardous contamination of our water systems. We didn't make it through the Startup Valley of Death, unfortunately, but hope we inspired some impact through the people and ideas we met along the way.
