Bind-X is an established production company in the industrial biotechnology sector that uses biological binding of materials to decarbonise various industries while enhancing their profitability. Established with the vision of supporting mines to use less water and operate more sustainably, Bind-X specialises in developing and producing biological binders for dust control and road stabilisation on mine sites. Currently, 70% of mines worldwide use water for dust suppression. The technology uses biocementation, a natural process that turns sand into stone, creating a thick and solid layer on the soil. With its Terrabind product portfolio, Bind-X currently offers five different patented formulations tailored to mine specific uses cases and climatic conditions.
