Powerhouse Electrics was established in 1969 to serve a broad range of customers from a broad range of environments. Owned by husband and wife team Andrew Elder and Jennifer Clark, we always strive to improve on our solid foundations by continuing to provide a consistent, high quality friendly service to our customers while ensuring we provide a safe and enjoyable workplace for our employees. To ensure consistency, all our staff have clear, precise instructions on all aspects of the business and ongoing training to ensure we all keep up-to-date on any industry or legislative changes. We regulary review our OH&S requirements including risk assessment and safe work method statements.

Innovative Electrical Solutions (IES) provides a total life-cycle service for electrical and controls packages for heating, air-conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration in ACT and the surrounding region. Established in 2002, IES is an award-winning supplier of "Reliable Controls" and offers clients a single point of communication from the initial concept design and engineering, to construction, commissioning, refurbishment, maintenance and repairs. The company has grown from its origins and now employs fifteen staff including project managers, electricians, controls technicians & apprentices. Our philosophy is that all work is to be undertaken in house to ensure IES quality is delivered in every project from switchboard design and construction to electrical and controls wiring and commissioning. Our focus is on building strong relationships with clients through long-term commitments. We deliver value for money solutions from reducing energy consumption in a building through efficient engineering of our Building Automation products, to competitive ongoing maintenance and fitout costs. At IES all our Mechanical services Distribution and controls boards are designed and manufactured in house in our manufacturing facility located locally in Queanbeyan. All boards are designed using the latest CAD software and are commonly constructed from Elsteel® and fitted out with quality components. IES is a value added OEM for most major brands of control and switch gear and deals directly with the component manufacturer/supplier resulting in the fastest, most cost effective and highest quality distribution boards in our target market.
