The Billiard Factory was founded in 1975 by Larry Stick as a single store on Telephone Road in Houston, Texas. Over the past four decades, the Company has expanded through both organic growth and opportunistic acquisitions from a single store with four employees into one of the nation's largest billiard and game room furniture retailers. Today, the company consists of 10 retail stores, multiple distribution centers and over 100 dedicated employees.

Founded in 1923 in Callenelle in Belgium, Saluc SA created the brand Aramith® which became over the years the reference billiard ball around the world. Aramith® still remains today the only brand which is 100% Belgian: from the design and production of our phenolic resin to the manufacturing of the billiard balls. The level of our craftsmanship combined with the most high-tech processes enables us to maintain a competitive edge, both in terms of performance and quality, and to remain the natural choice in all billiard disciplines for amateur and professional players. Saluc SA exports today 99% of its production in more than 110 countries. 8 out of 10 billiard balls in the world are Aramith® balls. With 200 craftspeople in our Callenelle factory and 828 ball references, Saluc SA with his brand Aramith® is able to provide the best and most adequate equipment to all cue sport players and sports associations around the world. In 2008, Saluc SA pioneered with the launch of Fusiontables®, a sleek and modern designed dining table brand comfortably seating 10 people which can transform within seconds into a high-end quality 7-foot pool table. In 2012, Saluc SA merged with Belgian company Iwan Simonis SA, the World's leading worsted American pool, carom and pyramid cloth manufacturer. In 2016, WSP Textiles Ltd, the British manufacturer of the World's leading woollen Snooker, English and Chinese pool cloth brand Strachan®, joined the Group.
