Bill Amberg Studio has been at the forefront of leather innovation for 40 years and is recognised as an industry leader in bespoke leather products, interiors, and furniture. Bringing together artisans from the worlds of saddlery, bag making, bookbinding, and fine leathercraft, the studio is dedicated to pushing the aesthetic and material possibilities of leather. We’re also passionate about promoting leather as a sustainable material, celebrating its longevity, natural qualities, and role in responsible design. Committed to the highest ethical and sustainability standards, we ensure that our practices—and those of our partner tanneries and suppliers—align with the most responsible industry practices. Our work spans from bags and accessories—including the iconic Bill Amberg ‘Rocket Bag’, held in the permanent collections of London’s V&A and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art—to timeless bespoke furniture and interiors. We have collaborated on high-end private residences with Sir David Chipperfield, Veere Grenney, and Amin Taha, as well as commercial projects like the Fine Watch Department at Harrods. Our expertise also extends to cultural institutions worldwide, including the Royal Academy of Arts and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Galleries at Westminster Abbey.
