The Big Screen Hack is the festival circuit for AI-native filmmakers. Across ten days in May 2026, we run a 48-hour build sprint in London (8–10 May), a generative film jam at Cannes (13–14 May), and an official screening of the winning works at the Cinéum Cannes during the Cannes Film Festival (18 May). Filmmakers, AI engineers and creative directors share teams. Working directors mentor and judge. Winners screen inside the festival. We exist because generative AI is rewriting cinema faster than the industry can keep up — and the people doing the most interesting work right now don't have anywhere to show it. The traditional festival route is closed to films made on tools that didn't exist five years ago. The AI demo circuit is too small to count as cinema. We're building the third path: a real festival, with real peers, real recognition, and a real screen. Big Screen Hack is the flagship. Across 2026 it travels — Cannes Lions in June, The NY Hack at Tribeca, a circuit screening at the BFI London Film Festival in the autumn. A year of cinematic hacks, building the credentials and the community AI-native filmmakers don't yet have. If you're a filmmaker, an AI tooling company, a creative agency, a journalist or just curious — bigscreenhack.com.
