Big River United Energy, LLC Information

Big River United Energy, LLC (BRUE) is a 110 million gallon per year ethanol plant built in Dyersville, Iowa in 2008. We began production as Big River United Energy, LLC in September 2009. The plant will consume 42 million bushels of corn annually within an 80 mile radius of Dyersville, producing approximately 389,000 tons per year of quality dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) and 15 million pounds of non-food grade corn oil (NFGCO) as well as 120 million gallons of fuel grade ethanol. The facility operates 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. The facility employs 51 dedicated & qualified staff to operate & manage the areas of corn receiving & grading, production, safety, maintenance, laboratory, administrative and product loading.
