Big Apple Edibles was founded in the winter of 2009 after two folks met as garden teachers in the Bronx. Both native New Yorkers, they shared a common mission: bring fresh food to the big city. We make conscious efforts to ensure that our work is done organically and sustainable in order to minimize the strain on the environment and your body, too! Growing food at home is an easy way to save time and money—fewer trips to the grocery store means fewer trips to the gas pump, and affordable organic produce that hasn’t been shipped from some far away place.
