The Great Explorations program seeks to meet the needs of students and families through the development of a broad program of academics, youth development/enrichment, prevention/wellness recreation and family activities. There are 3 main goals of the program: 1. Increase student academic achievement through tutoring/homework help and activities that promote an interest in learning. 2. Encourage the healthy development of children with wellness and recreation opportunities. 3. Strengthen families by providing opportunities for parents to learn with their children and through the offering of family-empowering resources.
