Zaha Hadid, founding partner of Zaha Hadid Architects, was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004 and is internationally known for her built, theoretical and academic work. Each of her dynamic and innovative projects builds on over thirty years of revolutionary experimentation and research in the interrelated fields of urbanism, architecture and design. Working with senior office partner Patrik Schumacher, Hadid’s interest is in the rigorous interface between architecture, landscape, and geology as the practice integrates natural topography and human-made systems that lead to experimentation with cutting-edge technologies. Such a process often results in unexpected and dynamic architectural forms.

Eigentlich ist nonconform ein Architekturbüro. Aber nur eigentlich. Ganz nach dem Motto „miteinander weiter denken“ nutzen wir das Potential der Vielen: In partizipativen Planungsprozessen entwickeln wir mit Nutzer:innen tragfähige Konzepte für ein langfristig lebendiges Umfeld. Dazu begleiten wir Veränderung direkt am Ort des Geschehens und im digitalen Raum. Wir entwickeln selbst zukunftsträchtige Leuchtturmprojekte und bringen sie in die Umsetzung. Mit unserer Architekturkompetenz planen wir nachhaltige, lebenswerte und nutzungsoffene Gebäude. nonconform wurde im Jahr 1999 von Peter Nageler und Roland Gruber in Wien gegründet. Ausgehend von Wien nahmen einige Mitarbeiter:innen ein Stück nonconform in andere Städte und Dörfer mit: In Berlin entstand ein zweiter Hauptstandort, von Aachen über Bayern bis nach Kärnten bringen Mitarbeiter:innen die nonconforme Arbeitsweise mit Leidenschaft in ihre Umgebung ein. So kennen und lieben wir Stadt und Land, und arbeiten dort, wo unsere Auftraggeber:innen sind.
