BFF Finder set out to help adults build real friendships, the kind that don't happen by accident once you're out of school. We built matching tools, hosted Make New Friends picnics across Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town, ran online community interest groups, and developed a newsletter that walked members through the actual arc of a new friendship, not just the introduction. At our peak: 10,000+ members, 50,000+ social followers, and over 100,000 friend matches made. The mission was real. The community was real. The friendships were real. We learned how people connect, what makes them feel safe enough to show up, stay, and give their best within a community.
