WRD is a student-owned motorsport organization based in Clemson, South Carolina. We specialize in the engineering, development, and competition of vehicles for rally and circuit racing. Our team applies automotive engineering principles —many of which are developed through Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR)— to design, modify, test, and optimize high-performance vehicles for competition. Our areas of focus include vehicle dynamics, custom composite manufacturing, and aerodynamic development.
