Beyond Energy Efficiency is a Nonprofit Organization focused on sustainability and decentralization, based out of Santa Barbara, California. Our current campaign is collecting donations to develop a "Farm-In-a-Box" prototype. By converting shipping containers into fully functional farm boxes, we hope to feed the hungry in America. We will use hydroponic grow tubes which fold out into the open upon landing. Inside will be a cold storage room for food and a grow room for seedlings. Beyond Energy Efficiency hopes to revolutionize the agriculture industry in America. In another campaign we are using proceeds to fund family support through massage. One of our own board members, Sonya Barriere is a healing massage therapist. She specializes in massage for expecting mothers, and hopes to support families in need.
