Beyond Carnism Information

Beyond Carnism (formerly known as Carnism Awareness and Action Network) is a charitable organization whose mission is to raise awareness of and transform carnism, the invisible belief system that conditions people to eat certain animals. Beyond Carnism has a core staff of eight in the US and six in Germany, and it acts as a hub of international carnism awareness activity. Our projects include Beyond Carnism hubs (networks of individuals who work together to raise carnism awareness), strategic activism trainings, educational outreach, carnism awareness speaker trainings, Karnismus erkennen (our German campaign), and the carnism awareness international speaking tour.
