BEWi is a group of companies, whose common denominator is innovation in plastics. BEWi is market-wise divided into three different business areas. Food packaging, Building materials and technical packaging. On the production-side we differ the companies in two areas. Expandable polystyrene (EPS) on one side, and Hard plastics (PE/PP) on the other side. BEWi has a very healthy development, a solid financial track record and an impeccable credit rating. BEWi has over the years both shown excellence in organic growth, and also done some well timed acquisitions within all business areas. BEWi is a family company, fully owned by Svenn Bekken. This reflects into the company spirit. BEWi has grown from a total turnover at 1 MNOK in 1980 to 450 MNOK in 2011, and all along ensuring a sustainable growth rate and producing a positive net result every single year since. A meticulous focus on details, a good working environment, building strong relations with customers and suppliers, and moving fast in different markets are the keys to BEWi´s success.
