BetterGov.ph Information

BetterGov.ph is a community-driven, volunteer-led civic technology initiative based in the Philippines. Launched in September 2025 by developers and members of the local startup community, the platform was created out of "civic anger" and frustration over outdated, confusing official government websites and widespread reports of corruption. Its primary mission is to make Philippine governance more transparent, efficient, and accessible to ordinary citizens. It does not aim to replace official government systems, but rather to complement them by offering a highly usable, modern alternative to the traditional national portal.
