The primary objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in business. This includes promoting the study and practice of investment banking, consulting, private-equity, technology, accounting, and other forms of business. In addition, Beta Alpha Psi provides opportunities for self-development and association among members, and encourages a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility. The Lambda chapter suits a multitude of academic and career goals, with majors ranging from Business Administration to Biology, and Computer Science to Media Studies. Such a breadth of interests fosters a fraternity that invites a wide array of experiences and perspectives to complement its informative workshops, team-building experiences, and professional networking possibilities.
