Bertrand, Deslauriers, founded in 1983 by Jean-François (JF) Bertrand, Senior Partner, now BDIA Bertrand, Deslauriers – is a Canadian law firm practicing in Immigration Law, Business and Technology Law in Canada. It has offices in Montreal since 1984, and in Toronto since 1996. The Immigration Law Group The Immigration Law Group headed by JF Bertrand has two divisions: Processing and Litigation. Its processing division prepares, files and follows applications for tourist visas, study permits, work permits, temporary resident permits, Quebec CAQs, immigration visas whether with Quebec CSQ, federal or PNP, humanitarian applications, sponsorships, entrepreneurs, investors, citizenship applications, PR Card renewals, and all manners of immigration-related applications. Its litigation division does Quebec administrative reviews, applications for judicial review in Superior court for CSQ refusals and rejections for questions of format or fraudulent documents. It does federal tribunals like the 4 divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board: the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), the Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) for appeals and detentions, the Immigration Division (ID) and the Refuge Protection Division (RPD).
