Bernardus started as an American wine makers brand in 1990. Until this day “Bernardus Winery” creates traditional world-class wines from the vineyard region of Carmel Valley USA. Bernardus wine is aged in tanks and barrels specially crafted in the French region of Bordeaux and Burgundy. With their west-facing orientation, hot days and chilly nights, and stunning beauty, Carmel Valley vineyards produce wines to rival the greatest on the globe. More than a quarter of a century later, Bernardus have introduced not only their Bordeaux blend called Marinus, but a powerful portfolio of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from their own vineyards. In 2018 the Bernardus brand extended into golf and hospitality with the opening of the Golf course in Cromvoirt, near 's-Hertogenbosch. Bernardus offers an experience for everybody to create new memories: “Bernardus, golf and memories”. Designed by Kyle Phillips, this unique, 18 hole golf course is located on 85 acres of heathlands, just an hour drive from Amsterdam. Bernardus is not only a golf course, it is a golf experience.
