The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences/Hogeschool van Amsterdam (AUAS/HvA) is a knowledge institution that educates tomorrow’s professionals in a wide array of fields and disciplines of higher education. With a distinct focus on applied sciences, the AUAS enables students, lecturers and researchers to develop cutting-edge – and practical – knowledge and innovations. AUAS students are immersed in Amsterdam during their studies, a city renowned as a hotbed of education and research in all conceivable areas: culture and society, trade, logistics, aviation, shipping, information technology, sports, healthcare and more. With the city as their laboratory, AUAS students and lecturers work closely with countless industries, companies and organisations to come up with smart solutions to challenges facing Amsterdam. Applied research is a crucial component of the many educational programmes AUAS offers, and is conducted in close collaboration with both professors and professionals. Students work alongside professors in labs and at centres of applied research. AUAS focuses on five priority areas for research: Amsterdam creative industries, Urban Education, Urban Management, Urban Technology and Urban Vitality. Entrepreneurship is another important focus area. The AUAS consists of seven faculties, teaching 45,460 students and offering 92 Bachelor’s, Master’s and Associate degree programmes. HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (HU) is one of the largest further education colleges in the Netherlands and is funded by the state. It has over 35,000 students with more than one hundred different nationalities. And yet, our students still experience our educational environment as small-scale and personal. This is thanks to the numerous locations where the courses are housed according to discipline and the high quality of our teaching staff, who place great emphasis on personal supervision.

IVN Natuureducatie zet zich in voor een groen, gezond en duurzaam Nederland. Dit doen we door de natuur in de harten van mensen te brengen. We laten jong en oud actief ervaren hoe leuk, leerzaam, gezond én belangrijk natuur is. Onze 130 professionals, 25.000 leden en 170 vrijwilligersafdelingen organiseren natuuractiviteiten, cursussen, projecten en campagnes. Daarbij focussen we op vier kernthema's: kind & natuur, natuur in de buurt, natuur & recreatie en natuur & gezondheid. IVN is ervan overtuigd dat kennis van en betrokkenheid bij de natuur, duurzaam handelen stimuleert. Bedrijfsprofiel Binnen de 170 lokale afdelingen van IVN zijn duizenden ervaren vrijwilligers actief. Jaarlijks organiseren zij met veel passie talloze excursies, cursussen, wandelingen, tentoonstellingen en opleidingen. Door deze laagdrempelige en educatieve activiteiten maakt een groot aantal mensen kennis met de natuur.
