For more than 50 years, Berkem has been an expert in botanical extraction and is developing botanical extracts for the food and cosmetic industriy. Present in the European and International market, Berkem generates 50% of its turnover from its export activities. The company is located in the south-west of France, in Gardonne, and is allowing a yearly processing capacity of more than 5000 tons of plants. Berkem is using inspiration from nature and is proposing various ranges of products, from plant origin, intended skin's beauty - face and body-, hair and also for nutricosmetics and food area. The company has been specialized in extraction of actives, in particular of polyphenols. Its offering includes ingredients as objectivized actives, botaical extracts and floral waters, all derived from selected plants for their active molecule composition and their efficiency.
