We believe simple is the best food and that ingredients speak for themselves. No refined sugars or sweeteners are ever used in our kitchen-instead we turn to raw honey and rapadura cane sugar. Berkelo's naturally leavened loaves do not contain any commercial yeast or additives. Our long-fermented breads spend no fewer than eighteen hours cold fermenting before being baked on stone. In our bakery, food is made for sharing. Buy a sourdough loaf, a selection of croissants or treat yourself to a packet of chocolate hazelnut biscuits. At Berkelo we promote the knowledge of baking.
