Berkeley Guard Fire & Security Information

We are Fire Risk Assessors, Installers and Maintainers of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Access Control and CCTV systems, we also offer the installation of Safes and the maintenance of Fire Extinguishers. We are an NSI Gold company and are also a registered Safe Contractor company. Berkeley Guard was founded in 1982 by Julian Berkeley, second son of Sir Lennox Berkeley, musician and composer and it is still a privately owned family business today. We do little advertising, preferring client referrals. Initially Berkeley Guards were installed mostly in the west end of London from our office in Notting Hill Gate. In 1989 our administration moved to Berkshire and then to Hampshire. 20 Powis Mews became an engineer base. Berkeley Guard purchased Burglarm Security of Romsey in 2006 and the Berkeley Guard Group was formed. We now install and maintain approved security systems throughout most of southern England. Each system is designed specifically for the property in question so a site survey is strongly recommended. The survey normally takes between 30 & 60 minutes and offers a good opportunity to discuss your personal requirements.
