BEOND is an Innovative SME that develops, designs ,builds, tests and validates Battery Pack for custom prototypes and automotive special applications. BEOND was born as Spin Off of Politecnico di Torino and has deep knowledge from cells and chemical composition, to cooling systems, vehicle performance engineering and Hybrid/Electric Vehicles. BEOND is the right partner to develop battery solutions for special applications, high technological level applications or to make R&D activities. BEOND is also specialized in most innovative engineering and simulation tools to check the feasibility of concept solutions, in particular: - FEM analysis for composite materials, dynamic simulation and crash simulation of composite material structure with advanced materials cards including updated failure criteria. BEOND have the experience to manage composite material applications from design to production. - CFD simulations and analysis of external and internal aerodynamics, but above all thermal simulations and design for Battery Cooling and HVAC for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles. - BEOND supports companies in vehicles and subsystems development through the use of 2D and 3D design tools, advanced Multi-body models of Hybrid and Electric vehicles and their powertrain (Electric Motors, Inverter, Transmission, Batteries, HVAC) and chassis subsystem (Suspensions, Steering, Braking, Cross member). BEOND Performance Engineering team supports customers planning, validation activity, vehicle subsystems optimization and testing. BEOND's expertise in physical-virtual correlation is fundamental to get the best performance and/or costs optimization.
