BENTI: Innovative sound morphing technology. BENTI SA is a start-up whose goal is to become the leader company of highly portable and embeddable digital sound morphing technology applied firstly to music instruments, and afterwards to other relevant domains, including the medical domain. BENTI’s first product is an innovative sound processing technology which is able to transform, in real-time (e.g. while playing) the direct sound output of any electric guitar into an extremely rich synthesized sound whose quality is comparable to high-end instruments. The core BENTI technology enables a large number of application starting from the most obvious one (the guitar sound morphing), which is that of dramatically enhancing the sound of existing guitars without the need of hacking the guitar’s hardware (as it happens today). Other applications are in the consumer, professional, educational and gaming markets. The technology is not limited to electric guitars, but can be easily extended to other instruments, including voice.
