Originally Devloped by NOI Engineering, an energy engineering and due diligence consulting company, Benchmarx ™ was the result of listening to client needs with an independent and rational observation of the marketplace. Dashboard's are prevalent, but they are typically nothing more than simple "online" spreadsheets. Scoring Systems are prevelant, but they are very limited in scope and efficacy. NOI Engineering envisioned a tool that would not only benefit those with little energy management experience but one that would also lend itself well to in house day-to-day monitoring. This would not only faciliate ongoing and automated data collection and rendering but in doing so would meet the requirements of Energy Disclosure laws in places such as Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., and the state of California.
