Bench Bio Pvt Ltd. is an Indian functional genomics research and service company with strong links to Europe. The company is involved in non-GM pre-breeding using TILLING method by generating prototype plants with important traits for breeding and product development. BenchBio provides contract research services ranging from the generation of large libraries of mutant populations using chemical and radiation to create genetic variability, high throughput systematic screening of populations at the DNA level, and phenotyping at field level to identify beneficial traits.
