After World War II our family business was completely disowned by the socialist government and was refounded by Friedrich Benary in Hann. Münden, Lower Saxony, in 1946. Friedrich started from scratch and traveled all over Europe on his bike to collect seed for his new business. Benary operates three breeding facilities in USA, the Netherlands, and Germany! In 2017, Benary+ was launched in North America to offer an alternative way to market its products to growers in North America by making transactions more direct and efficient, as well as to increase the value for our grower customers.
