Belmont Data Collaborative Information

The Belmont Data Collaborative is an opportunity to infuse data literacy and fluency into every discipline by providing the right degree and non-degree programs as well as serve as a resource by partnering with organizations to address the needs of our community, including key industries such as health services, music/entertainment and tech/entrepreneurship. It also coordinates and promotes data initiatives across the university and the region, developing a diverse community of scientists, organizational managers/leaders, faculty and students who will bring a moral, ethical and social compass to their use of data analytics. Through degree and non-degree instructional programs, along with co-curricular activities and real-world experiences, the BDC will 1) provide employers with graduates possessing highly-sought data skills and 2) serve as a resource by partnering with organizations to address the needs of our community, including key industries such as health services, music/entertainment and tech/entrepreneurship.
