BELAC Information

BELAC (Belgian Accreditation Body) is the national accreditation body in Belgium for accreditation of conformity assessment bodies. It was established by the provisions of the Royal Decree of January 31, 2006 and is placed under the responsibility of the FPS Economy, S.M.E.s, Self-employed and Energy. BELAC (Belgische Accreditatie-instelling) is de nationale accreditatie-instelling in België voor de accreditatie van conformiteitsbeoordelingsinstellingen. BELAC werd opgericht door de bepalingen van het Koninklijk Besluit van 31 januari 2006 en valt onder de verantwoordelijkheid van de FOD Economie, K.M.O., Middenstand en Energie. BELAC (l'Organisme belge d'Accréditation) est l'organisme national d'accréditation en Belgique pour l'accréditation des organismes d'évaluation de la conformité. Elle a été instituée par les dispositions de l'arrêté royal du 31 janvier 2006 et est placée sous la responsabilité du SPF Economie, P.M.E., Classes moyennes et Energie.
