At first glance, beije is a subscription service for menstrual hygiene products. But we’ve chosen to be preoccupied by more than just that. How can we make periods more comfortable? Do we have to expose our bodies to unpronounceable materials and chemical processes each month? Is it fair for us to have to choose between high quality menstrual products and products we can actually afford? We set out on a journey in January 2020 with these questions and a hopeful dream in mind. From user experience to a radically transparent communication and pricing policy, from “clean” and vegan products to fact-based digital content, alongside an exceptional doing-good philosophy; we have been working to exist honestly, responsibly, and authentically in everything we do. We are beije. We treat our company, not as a thriving startup, but as part of a larger movement. Ama biz kendimize çok daha fazlasını kapsayan bir yol çizmeye karar verdik. Daha konforlu bir regl dönemi nasıl mümkün olabilir? Regl olduğumuz için bedenimizi, adını bilmediğimiz malzemelere ve zararlı kimyasal işlemlere maruz bırakmak zorunda mıyız? Vücudumuza ve dünyamıza saygı ile üretilmiş menstrüel ürünlerin, can yakıcı maddi bedelleri olmak zorunda mı? Ocak 2020’de aklımızda bu sorularla ve birçok hayalle yola çıktık. Müşteri deneyiminden tamamen şeffaf bir fiyatlandırma politikasına, ürünlerin temiz içeriğinden vegan olmalarına, bağış felsefesinden bilim temelli dijital içeriklere kadar; elimizin değdiği her alanda dürüst, sorumlu, özgün ve eksiksiz bir şekilde var olmak için; o günden beri durmaksızın çalışıyoruz. Ve bu yolda, ortak geleceğimizde kadınların etkisini kuvvetlendirme hayalimizi paylaşan herkesle tanışmak istiyoruz.
