BEEP is a charity that empowers and supports young people into further training or employment. It relies on support from business to fund programmes and train business mentors. Young people attend a 10 day programme that teaches skills such as leadership, communication, body language but also focuses on changing attitudes, behaviours and mind set by setting realistic and achievable goals and action plans. The young people gain qualifications in First Aid and Health and Safety as well as learning about workplace safeguarding, equality and diversity. They are then partnered with a volunteer mentor from a local business who helps to support the young person during their onward journey.
