WHAT WE DO BEED Engineering is an innovative consulting engineering firm providing mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services. THE NAME According to the U.S Department of Energy 2008 Buildings Energy Data Book, buildings account for about 39% of the annual energy consumption in the United States. This translates into billions of dollars in energy cost expenditure. Consequently, even a small amount of savings would generate a lot of funds that could be used for other beneficial purposes. Apart from offering opportunities to save money, efficient buildings also help in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. BEED, is an acronym for Building Energy Efficiency Design. We have chosen this name to emphasize that we really care about building energy efficiency. Therefore, we always look for opportunities to design energy efficient, affordable, serviceable and the most economic life cycle cost MEP systems . THE PEOPLE We are hardworking and experienced professionals with expertise in a wide range of industries including laboratory and research, healthcare, industrial, data centers, educational, commercial, residential, automotive, restaurants and high performance buildings. Our founding principal, Michael K. Frempong is a professional engineer and LEED AP BD+C accredited professional with over 20 years of experience in consulting engineering. Our goal is to always provide our clients with the best engineering solution, design within the construction budget and deliver our services in a timely fashion.
