Beech Tree House Information

Beech Tree operates a no smoking policy within the premises. Service users wishing to smoke can do so by going outside within the grounds. The staff at Beech Tree are constantly made aware that the service users' rights are respected at all times. We promote this by employing fully qualified and motivated work force supervised by an on site manager. The home has care staff on hand 24-hours a day to help with advice and support. Visits to doctors, dentists and other healthcare providers can be arranged by the care staff or by the residents themselves when needed. Residents are encouraged and helped in developing any skill and interest of their choice and lead a happy and healthy life style. At Beech Tree we offer the following facilities: Personal care as needed Opportunity to keep personal possessions and furniture where possible Update care plan including enhanced care plan for all the service users as advised Choice of keeping one's own GP or a new local GP if desired. Attention from the local Community Psychiatric Nurse through the doctor and the regional resource centres. Medication given as prescribed. Fully trained care staff to a minimum NVQ in care level 2 All personal laundry washed on the premises. At Beech Tree we endeavour to provide a full activity programme to ensure that all service users maintain their levels of independence and take care of their physical health.
