Bedmax bedding products are purpose made to provide an ideal bedding for horses and ponies.
Established in 2000, we are today producing nearly three million bags of high quality shavings a year for sale through a UK-wide network of wholesalers and retailers, and for export to growing markets in Europe, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
In 2008 we were delighted to be granted a Royal Warrant by appointment to Her Majesty The Queen as a manufacturer of horse bedding, and very proud when this Royal Warrant was renewed in 2012.
In 2010 we introduced a smaller, lighter shavings option called Littlemax, and at the same time began to produce and market Hotmax - fuel logs made from the dust and particles we extract in the production of Bedmax and Littlemax.
Bedmax has become a market-leading brand - the first choice of bedding for many leading equine veterinary practices and equine hospitals, racing trainers, racecourses and major international equestrian events. In market surveys carried out late in 2011 by the UK's leading equestrian magazine, Horse & Hound, and the British Equestrian Trade Association, Bedmax also emerged as the most popular brand of purpose-made bedding amongst the many thousands of people in the UK who keep, ride and compete their horses simply for the love of it.
The company has significant potential for further growth in the UK and a secure foundation to take advantage of the opportunity to expand in international markets.

The Baileys Horse Feeds / BEF Futurity Young Horse Evaluation series has been developed to encourage breeders, owners and trainers of eligible young horses from foals through to 3 years to bring their horses forward into the public eye for evaluation. Young horses brought forward will benefit from being evaluated by experts and from non-stressful handling experience. As far as the industry is concerned, beneficial data is gathered for the National Equine Database regarding the bloodlines of evaluated horses, enabling the identification of successful combinations at an early age and facilitating British Breeding's research into breeding performance indicators. In 2006 the scheme was expanded to include a section for sports ponies and a series of regional evaluations, whilst for 2007 the 4 year old Young Horse Evaluations were brought into the scheme having previously been run separately.
