Beaumont Information

Since our founding in 1996, Beaumont has been a contract engineering firm that specializes in pro-ject management, engineering (mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware), manufacturing, as-sembly, installation, and technical support. Beaumont was a Silicon Valley start-up that focused on developing custom manufacturing equip-ment for magnetic-media, flat-panel, and semi-conductor manufacturers. When we moved to Hawaii in 2003, we shifted our attention to medical devices and medical test equipment. We also dabbled in the development of consumer products. Between 2011 and 2016, we managed the Fecal Sludge Omni-Ingestor (FSOI) program on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We also devel-oped technology for the program until 2017. The goal of the FSOI project was to develop a low-cost, mobile waste-treatment plant that could be driven into developing-world settlements for the purpose of extracting and treating waste from latrine pits and septic tanks. Our focus now is on the development of technology that improves water, sani-tation, and hygiene conditions in the developing world. Towards that end, we have been developing, and plan to develop, several products intended to address WSH sector needs with the goal of im-proving the lives of millions within the next 10 years.
