Bears & More Information

Established in 1992. We are a shop that specializes in Teddy bears of all types. From the highly collectible Steiff line (we are a Best of America Dealer), Boyds & Deb Canham (club dealers for both), Gund, North American Bear, Russ Berrie, Ty, Douglas & Mary Meyer. We also have a wonderful selection of locally made Artist Bears. In the "more" of the store, we carry lots of books and puzzles, toys for kids of all ages, Breyer horses, Scheich and Papo animal figures, and lots of wonderful things for babies. We also hold classes in needle felting and have a huge selection of wool roving, needles and kits and supplies for this fun and easy craft. Linda & I started this shop in 1992 in the historical Catlin Court District of downtown Glendale. She had been a bear collector for years, and as fate would have it, she ran into a sales rep for a company and before we knew it Bears & More was born. As a mother and daughter-in-law team, we balance each other out. She does all the fun and smiles and I do all the work and worry! We have met lots of wonderful people over the years and have been blessed many times over. In 2006 we were name by the New Times, The Best Place to Buy a Kid a Birthday Gift, and we could not agree more - and it is for kids of all ages, from 0 - 100. We specialize in collectible Teddy bears from Steiff, Gund, Boyds, Deb Canham, one of a kind artist designs for the teddy bear fans. We also stock games, puzzles, books and toys that require imagination - not batteries. Schleich, Breyer, and lots of toys made right here in the U.S.A.
