In 1954, Golden Glow was established in the Bronx by Rose Florio and her father. They began baking traditional homemade cookies from old family recipes. Now, 62 years and four generations later, the Florio family continues to produce delicious cookies, cakes, and pastries. Rose has maintained the quality of the recipes and created her own line of cookies known as "Mama Rose." The family pays close attention to detail and only high-quality ingredients are used. Decades of experience ensure that the baking and carmelization processes are followed exactly, producing consistent quality for 62 years. Golden Glow is dedicated to the baking industry, and has adapted "the old world tradition" for the 21st Century. Our cookies, cakes, and pastries are baked fresh daily to ensure maximum taste and freshness. From traditional Italian cookies, like the Anisette Toast and crunchy Biscotti, to All-American crowd pleasers like Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin, there is truly a cookie for everyone to enjoy. The home-style category offers 32 different varieties, and our Mama Rose cookies offer 21 truly delectable treats. Golden Glow has also developed a line of Sugar Free and Gluten Free cookies which are carefully selected for maximum flavor.
