Beacon Foundation is a nationwide not-for-profit organisation based in Tasmania, with offices in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. Beacon has facilitated programs with schools and businesses since 1988 to bring real-world work experience into the classroom and inspire young people to think about their futures long before leaving school. Our programs are tailored for students in Years 7-12 attending schools where the ICSEA* is less than 1,000. We firmly believe that where you come from shouldn't limit your career opportunities and that every young person should be given the tools to reach their full potential.
