Be the Change Initiative (BTCI) is a UK based social change organisation committed to the creation of a life sustaining society. It is now well known that Earth’s capacity to sustain life as we know it is breaking down. Our environment, social systems and the health and well being of humans and all species are at risk. Our capacity and willingness as humans to change our mindset from separation and competition to interdependence and cooperation is crucial to healing the damage to our planet and supporting its ability to sustain life. Rather than an invitation to despair, BTCI frames this as the most challenging opportunity ever presented to us and an invitation to contribute to a bold purpose: bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet as the guiding principle of our time ….
