Be Independent is initially servicing disability group homes and aged care at home providers. BI allows disability group home and aged care at home service providers to focus on the well being of their clients and staff while BI manages all aspects of operating and maintaining the house, vehicles and related assets. Be Independent helps service providers raise standards and ensure compliance. Be Independent offers a combination of technology and operational support services to help raise standards and ensure compliance. BI customers benefit from the low cost and power of shared technologies and services as well as access to group buying. BI improves choice, flexibility, transparency, safety and quality of service for vulnerable people while reducing complexity and cost to service providers. BI utilises shared technologies, services and group buying power. To help the NDIS achieve its vision of empowerment BI is commissioning an online, smart phone and telephone booking, asset management and service delivery platform for disability service providers their customers and families.
