The firm of BDS Engineering, Inc. is a full service, public agency oriented, civil engineering consultant. Our office is located in the City of Lemon Grove, California. We were established as Bement-Dainwood-Sturgeon, Civil Engineers, in April 1973 by James D. Bement, John F. Dainwood and Kent L. Sturgeon (all have since retired). These three principals brought to the firm a diverse and varied background consisting of experience in civil design, municipal engineering, construction inspection, construction administration, surveying and materials engineering. Thomas A. Jones has been with this firm since 1980 and became a principal of the firm in 1987. In 1997, the remaining original founder retired and the firm changed its name to BDS Engineering, Inc. By utilizing our years of experience as a prime consultant on civil engineering consultant contracts, BDS Engineering, Inc. will lead a coordinated team effort for the delivery of requested services in a timely manner.
