Since 1899, the Harris name has been identified with innovative people, practices, and products. This began when John Harris invented the flame-cutting torch, leading to the founding of The Harris Calorific Company. And in 1914, Joseph W. Harris, Sr. founded the J. W. Harris Company and developed many of the brazing alloys and fluxes that are still used today.
In 2005, Lincoln Electric merged these two successful companies to become the Harris Products Group. Today, we are industry leader in the consumables and gas equipment.
Our dedication to a higher standard strategy lies within our six core values: integrity, a focus on the customer, quality, performance, commitment, and employee development. This commitment to excellence applies to all of the industries we serve: from the cutting, brazing and welding in industrial business and OEMs, to plumbing, HVAC/R and specialty gas applications like laboratories, analytical testing, food, beverage and more.
