BCAIU institutions Information

The British Columbia Association of Institutes and Universities (BCAIU) represents the interests of eight educational organizations in British Columbia and Yukon University, North West Territories. Together our members account for over 40 per cent of the students attending public post-secondary institutions in the province. BCAIU member institutions provide a wide-range of programs and courses including academic, applied, workforce development and continuing education programs ranging from certificates through to masters' degrees. Our diversity is our strength. Students acquire important skills and training, often in their own community or region. Our members are focused on meeting the needs of learners and are leaders in such areas as innovation and technology, health care, public safety, motion picture production, art and design, and education for for Indigenous learners. We are committed to applied research, experiential and work integrated learning and innovation.
