The BC Centre for Ability is a leader in providing rehabilitation services for acquired brain injury. Since 1997, we have operated the Community Brain Injury Program for Children & Youth in B.C. This program provides and coordinates short-term, interdisciplinary, acute rehabilitation services to children and youth who do not have third party insurance. A member of the BC Concussion Advisory Network, we are also active in promoting early intervention for concussion. Our goal is to prevent re-injury and promote a healthy return to learning and life by helping children, youth, and their families recognize and manage concussion symptoms.
