BC 1 Call is a free, province-wide damage prevention and safety service, which connects the excavating community with the owners of underground facilities, who are our members. We exist to share information that will protect people and equipment from making unintended contact with underground infrastructure. As a non-profit organization established in 1994, BC 1 Call's vision is to create a safer BC by protecting people, the environment, and underground infrastructure. Supporting safer digging practices by providing the excavation community and the public with information to help prevent damage to underground infrastructure, is our mission. 2026 - 2028 Strategic Priorities 1.
