BBS Building Control is one of the largest Approved Inspectors, established in 2001 and now employing over 80 employees that work across England and Wales. We provide consistency of advice that doesn’t change over borough or country borders, a fast and reliable service for plan checking and on-site inspections with experienced and qualified Building Control Surveyors. Our surveyors are experienced in domestic extensions through industrial/commercial buildings to new dwellings and multi-storey apartments and large mixed-use developments. BBS Building Control has an Environmental Department who are leading providers of construction environmental assessments offering a complete range of Code for Sustainable Homes, EcoHomes and BREEAM assessments. Our environmental team can also offer SAP Assessments, EPC Certification, Air Pressure Tests, Water Calculations Sound Tests and more. The in-depth knowledge of sustainable and energy saving issues links directly with planning application advice thus providing a comprehensive service for clients, designers and developers. BBS Health & Safety Services provides core services to complement BBS Environmental and BBS Building Control. Drawing on the considerable knowledge and experience of our in-house specialists we can add invaluable enhancement to our other services. Our health and Safety specialists can provide Fire Risk Assessment, help clients to provide safe systems of work and deliver on-site training courses that can be tailored to meet any specific requirement.
