BB2 Technology Group was founded in 2020, but the idea behind it had been building for years. It came from real, firsthand frustration with an IT industry that too often missed the point. Our founding partners, James Bartlett and Sam Balooch, repeatedly saw businesses being sold technology instead of being supported with thoughtful solutions. Tools were pushed, contracts were signed, but the underlying business problems remained unsolved. James often shares that finding an IT partner who truly listened was harder than it should have been. Instead of asking the right questions, many providers led with prepackaged answers. Solutions were dictated rather than designed, and flexibility was sacrificed for convenience. We knew those frustrations were not unique. Countless organizations were dealing with the same disconnect, and we believed there had to be a better, more human approach to managed IT. That belief is what shaped BB2 Technology Group. James brings more than 30 years of experience building, running, and scaling managed IT services. Sam complements that with over 20 years as a CIO inside large organizations, sitting on the other side of the table and feeling the real impact of IT decisions on operations, budgets, and people. Together, they combined provider expertise with executive perspective to build something different. BB2 was created to be a true partner, not a vendor. We focus on understanding how a business actually operates before recommending any technology. We value clear thinking over buzzwords, flexibility over rigid frameworks, and long-term relationships over short-term wins. Our team is built to adapt as our clients grow, helping them navigate change, reduce risk, and make smarter technology decisions over time.
