Here at BB Print we are committed to protecting the environment. We strive every day to better our procedures and the impact we have on our surroundings. With the assistance of Printing Industries Australia we are implementing and promoting environmentally sound printing practices by achieving independent certification and accreditation at Level 2 of Sustainable Green Print. We have identified our main environmental impacts as being those related to waste and recycling, energy consumption and potential emissions. Through this system we aim to continually improve and reduce our impact on the environment. Sustainable Green Print (SGP) is the Australian Printing Industry's own recognised certification program which allows us to meet our environmental responsibilities. The printing industry has a long history of undertaking environmental initiatives such as recycling, reducing emissions to water, land, air and generally improving environmental performance. Based on an ISO14001 framework, SGP allows us to manage the every day demands of our clients and the ever changing trends in dealing with environmental issues. We obtained Level 2 accreditation for Sustainable Green Print in May 2013 and became North Queensland's first SGP accredited company. Being accredited means that we - BB Print staff and company - are not only performing the best possible practices to help protect the environment, but have the opportunity to engage with clients that are environmentally conscious. Our promise is to continually be aware and think green in our everyday working surrounds, allowing us to stay focused and continue to work towards a cleaner and brighter future.
