Baybridge Communications, LLC was a San Francisco Bay Area broadcasting company and former owner of KDIA 1640 AM and KDYA 1190 AM. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Richmond, California, Baybridge operated the two Vallejo-licensed radio stations from 1998 through 2021. Through KDIA and KDYA, Baybridge provided faith-based, gospel, talk, community, and cultural programming to listeners throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. KDYA became widely known as “The Light 1190,” while KDIA operated as a Christian talk and teaching station and was promoted as “The Light for San Francisco.” During more than two decades of ownership, Baybridge invested in the stations’ broadcast infrastructure and expanded their reach throughout the region. In 2021, Baybridge sold KDIA and KDYA to Salem Media Group.
